Eligibility Criteria for Intake 2026-28

We are looking for motivated and passionate young individuals who are eager to contribute to a diverse and dynamic learning environment.

To apply through UWC Indonesia National Committee for Intake 2026-28, you must meet the following criteria:

1. Age requirement

Candidates must be between 16 and 19 years old, which means born between or on July 1, 2007 and July 1, 2010.

Minimum age: 16 years old as of 1 July 2026 (born on or before 1 July 2010).
Maximum age: 19 years old as of 1 July 2026 (born on or after 1 July 2007).

No exceptions can be made.

2. Academic requirement

Candidates applying must currently be enrolled in Grade 10, 11, or 12 in either the Indonesian National Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) or International Curriculum.

Grade 12 applicants are also eligible to apply, but please note that some UWC schools have age restrictions, which might provide you with a shorter list of UWC schools that you can be selected for. 

3. Residency and nationality

Candidates applying through UWC Indonesia will be representing Indonesia at United World Colleges across the world. Therefore, to apply through us, you must be an Indonesian citizen, regardless of your residency, and preferably have lived in Indonesia for at least 8 years.

What if I’m not eligible to apply via NC Indonesia?

While national application in Indonesia is managed by us, the following routes are also available:

Please note that you are only allowed to submit one application per academic year to study at UWC. You may choose to apply through the UWC National Committee of Indonesia, another National Committee (if eligible), or through the Global Selection Programme (GSP). You are not permitted to apply through more than one route in the same academic year.
